Movement Disorders are neurological conditions which are classified in two main groups as follows

1.Hyperkinetic Movement Disorders if the speed of movements is increased


2.Hypokinetic Movement Disorders if the speed of the movements is decreased

Parkinson's disease is the most common Hypokinetic movement disorder .The common Hyperkinetic movement disorders are essential tremor , tourette syndrome , dystonia , hemifacial spasm , blephrospasm and the medical conditions characterzed by myoclonus and chorea
